The Link's House Next Door is our special meeting place for children and teens. Welcoming bright colors, art and play space, a volcano room, and a garden provide a safe place to nurture the healing of children and their caregivers.

 

Early intervention can provide powerful prevention of difficulties later in life. In addition to grief support, individual and family counseling are available to assist children with other traumas, loss or difficulties which, left unattended, may inhibit their development into healthy adulthood.

 

A family thrives when attention is given to the health and well-being of the child. Parents, schools, and caregivers of children seek to provide an environment to support healthy emotional development. Sometimes more support is needed. The Link offers affordable therapy for your child and family to address concerns. Through the use of art, sand play, dance and movement, or play therapy, children explore and express feelings and experiences that may be at the root of their difficulties. We extend an invitation for you and your child to discover new ways of growing and connecting.

The steps for setting up your child's therapy are simple. First, call 404-256-9797 to schedule a parent/caregiver consultation. During the consultation, you and the therapist will discuss family history and the concerns and hopes you have for your child. Following this consultation appointments for your child may be scheduled.

The Link provides quality, affordable, confidential psychotherapy, counseling and support groups to all ages. We are dedicated to providing therapeutic services on a low cost, sliding fee scale. Clients are seen by Link therapists for as many visits as needed. No outside parties determine eligibility for services, number of visits or fees paid. Confidentiality is a priority and is carefully maintained at The Link.
